Gavin Ralston started playing guitar at a very young age. He has been part of the Irish music scene for many years. As comfortable with a Les Paul electric guitar in his hands playing a screaming lead line, or a spanish guitar playing the most subtle backing, Gavin plays all styles very well and therefore has worked with a huge variety of artists and music.

He has played on over 40 albums to date and also appeared live with almost every name artist in the Irish music industry as well as quite a few outside of Ireland, including, Mike Scott, Sharon Shannon, Donal Lunny, Steve Wickham, Eleanor Mc Evoy, Eimear Quinn, and Anuna to name but a few.

Gavin has appeared on TV backing such huge artists as Samantha Mumba, Enrique Iglesias, Trisha Yearwood, Lulu and Marti Pellow.

He has also played with some of the bigger Irish dance shows including Gaelforce Dance, Spirit of Ireland, and Dance On The Moon.

Gavin will be playing various guitar styles, electric, acoustic and Spanish, on both Ellavation and also on tour with the band.
