Gavin Murphy has studied contemporary music, at various schools and universities over a twelve year period and achieved first class distinctions in everythjing that he did.

Following his studies, Gavin worked as musical director on various television shows for BBC, UTV, RTE and TG4.

He is also co owner of a media music company which produces original music for network television around the world, including PBS in America, Sky Television in Europe and BBC.

As a session musician, Gavin has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including, Westlife, Ronan Keating, Van Morrison, Clannad, Martine Mc Cutcheon, Paul Brady, Johnny Mathis, and many more.
