Elzbieta ( Ella ) Alicja Haluk was born in Rzeszow, Poland on November 14th, 1979.

She started playing violin and studied music from the age of six at Rzeszow Primary Music School and continued her studies from the age of twelve at Rzeszow Secondary Music School. Here, Ella also started playing Viola.

When she was nineteen, she went to the Warsaw Music Academy to continue her education. Here, she chose Viola as her main instrument.

While Ella was at the Academy in Warsaw, she was approached to join Gaelforce Dance as part of the string section. At the end of this she was asked to become lead violin player with the show.

Elzbieta ( Ella ) Alicja Haluk was born in Rzeszow, Poland on November 14th, 1979. She started playing violin and studied music from the age of six at Rzeszow Primary Music School and continued her studies from the age of twelve at Rzeszow Secondary Music School. Here, Ella also started playing Viola. When she was nineteen, she went to the Warsaw Music Academy to continue her education. Here, she chose Viola as her main instrument. While Ella was at the Academy in Warsaw, she was approached to join Gaelforce Dance as part of the string section. At the end of this she was asked to become lead violin player with the show.

		Ella was with Gaelforce Dance for over three years and she was made Musical Director in April 2001, when the composer, Colm O' Foghlu, left to pursue other interests. *She was called on to record all the string parts for the Gaelforce Dance* Video Soundtrack, and also various new pieces for the show.** When Gaelforce stopped touring, Ella moved on to appear in Dance Of Desire, where she continues to tour presently. As well as her live work, Ella has spent a lot of time, arranging and recording string sections. Ella has also recorded strings for a show at Busch Gardens amusement parks in America. She arranged and recorded all the string parts for some artists signed to Dolphin Records in Ireland. At the moment Ella is recording her debut album at Solitaire. It contains some tracks written by Colm O' Foghlu and Alan Whelan, with Alan undertaking most of the production duties. The album will be mainly instrumental although it will cross various different styles from rock to dance and acoustic.
